Specially Designed Fabric

When I started making bias tape in summer 2020, I quickly found myself searching for fabrics for designs that would work perfectly, and couldn’t find anywhere. That’s where Bias Tape by The Specky Seamstress was launched – I designed my own and decided if I wanted bias tape with specially designed fabrics, other people might too!

Each design is developed by me to ensure that the text or image are exactly placed to make perfect bias tape. I work with my printer to ensure the colours are spot on!

This bias tape is made from 130gsm cotton poplin printed in the UK, which works perfectly on a range of garment fabrics.
